Tap Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. You'll get a
six-digit code by email that works once and expires after a few minutes. If it
hasn't arrived in a minute or two, check your spam folder — and check you typed
the same address you signed up with.
- My child changed teams. Do I lose her stats?

No. Each season keeps its own team, jersey number and position, so a player can be
on the Thunder one spring and the Rockets the next while her whole history stays in
one place. Add the new season in Settings and set the team on it.
- Can I track more than one child?

Yes. Settings, then Manage Players, then Add Another
Player. Switch between them by tapping the name at the top of the screen.
Each player's seasons, games and photos are completely separate.
- What do I put in the PA box?

Every trip to the plate, however it ended — hits, outs, walks, hit by pitch,
sacrifices, all of it. Dugout works out at-bats from there by taking out the walks,
hit-by-pitches and sacrifices, which is how a scorebook does it. If you leave PA at
zero the averages can't be worked out properly, so the app will warn you.
- Why is her average different from what I calculated?

Batting average is hits divided by at-bats, not plate appearances. A walk,
a hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly and a sacrifice bunt are not at-bats, so they don't
count against her. Tap the ? in the app for a glossary of every
stat and how it's worked out.
- There's no signal at the field. Can I still log the game?

Yes. Log it as normal — it saves on your phone and uploads by itself the moment you
have a connection again. You don't need to do anything.
- How do I send a card to family?

Go to the Share tab, pick a stat card, trading card or milestone
card, and tap the share button. It hands the image to Messages, Mail, Photos or
whatever else you use.
- How do I print a season?

The Print tab builds a one-page report with the full line, every
game and the milestones she hit. Tap Print / Save as PDF and choose
a printer, or save it as a PDF to keep.
- Can I change the way the app looks?

Settings, then the theme button. There are ten themes, light and dark, plus a
build-your-own option where you pick the colour.
- How do I delete a player, or my whole account?

A player: Settings, then Manage Players, tap the player, then
Delete. Your whole account: Settings, then Account,
then Delete Account. Both are permanent and take the photos with
them — there's no way to undo it, so make sure first.
- Is my child's data safe?

There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking in Dugout, and nothing is ever sold
or shared. The privacy policy sets out exactly what's
stored and how to remove it.
